Georgia Runoff Elections

Georgia is ready to elect Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock to the Senate, two pro-worker champions and union-endorsed candidates.

Jon Ossoff for GeorgiaRev. Raphael Warnock for Georgia

Rev. Warnock and Jon Ossoff understand the severity of the crisis Georgia is in right now. Lives and livelihoods are on the line. Here is where they stand on the issues that matter to working families:

COVID-19 Relief:
Ossoff and Warnock believe the Senate should stop playing politics during a pandemic and start keeping working people whole—whether we are on the front-lines of COVID-19 or out of work through no fault of our own. Both have stressed the need for increased COVID-19 mitigation efforts such as robust testing, contact tracing, PPE, masks, and extended training for healthcare professionals.
Labor Law Reform:
Ossoff and Warnock both know it’s time to pass the PRO Act, which would strengthen workers’ rights to form unions and collectively bargain. Both are committed to walking the picket line with workers and using their offices to speak out publicly to support workers’ union efforts.
Taxes and Economy:
Both candidates oppose tax cuts for the ultra-rich and massive corporate giveaways, which have shipped union jobs overseas or across the border. They believe in investing in clear energy jobs, which will create employment opportunities for millions of American workers. And both are committed to raising Georgia’s minimum wage to $15 an hour.
Safe Workplaces:
Workers should not have to pick between a paycheck or their health. Essential workers must have the proper PPE and equipment to safely do their job.

Make sure your voice is heard. Together, we can truly make America great and build a nation that works for all working people.
